CueHarbor Health, LLC ("CueHarbor Health," "we," "us," or "our") respects the privacy of people who use KindCue. This policy explains how the current KindCue application handles information.
1. Information you choose to enter
KindCue may allow you to record information such as symptoms, mood, food, medications, sleep, notes, body-map selections, images, reminders, and other journal details. You decide what information to enter.
2. How the current app stores information
The current KindCue beta is designed to store core journal information locally on your device. The current app dependency set does not include advertising or analytics SDKs.
Optional features that you choose to use may rely on services provided by your device or operating-system provider. Examples can include speech recognition, notifications, image selection, printing, and sharing. Those services may process information according to the privacy settings and policies of the service provider you use.
3. Information we do not sell
CueHarbor Health does not sell personal health information or journal content. We do not use KindCue journal content for targeted advertising.
4. Sharing initiated by you
If you choose to export, print, or share information from KindCue, the destination and recipient are selected by you. Once information leaves KindCue through a sharing feature, the receiving app, service, or person may handle it under their own privacy practices.
5. Device permissions
KindCue may request device permissions only when needed for optional features, such as notifications, speech recognition, or selecting an image. You can manage permissions through your device settings.
6. Children and family use
KindCue is being designed so it can also be used by families and younger users with appropriate parent or guardian involvement. Parents and guardians should supervise the information a child enters or shares. The current beta does not require a CueHarbor Health user account for core journaling.
7. Data security
We design KindCue with privacy and security in mind. No software or device can be guaranteed completely secure, so users should also protect their device with appropriate screen-lock, account, backup, and operating-system security settings.
8. Data deletion
Because core journal information in the current beta is stored locally, users can remove entries from within the app where deletion controls are available. Removing the app or clearing its local application data may also remove locally stored information. Users should export anything they wish to retain before deleting app data.
9. Changes to this policy
KindCue is actively being developed. If we add accounts, cloud storage, analytics, integrations, or other services that change how information is handled, we will update this policy and the app's applicable disclosures before those features are made available to users.
